Mildly Madonna Inspired Sheer Black Lace, Cheetah Bold and a Touch of Gold

Hello again my Fabulous Fashion Friends, This outfit is slightly inspired by the One and Only Madonna. This stylecon is not only known for combining a few of my favorites leather, lace, pearls, blacks, whites, gaudy jewelry/accessories and etc but she is also comes from Detroit, MI which will always be home :). To get this look (just in time for Halloween) I chose a sheer black and pleather moto jacket by Forever21+ to top off my bold take on a furrocious feline energy inspired ensemble. The pocketed harem/legging cheetah pants are from one of Southern California's precious gems the LA Fashion District (Fashion Alleys). The black lace Spanish peasant off the shoulder blouse paired with these pants was a gift from my momma <3 and it was chosen because the look I was going for screamed for it. The golden tipped, black suede zip up booties are from Shoedazzle and give this particular look the soft yet edgy vibe that I love very much. I used my black palm fingerless gloves (vintage) to give this look more of a tougher je' ne sais quios while tying in my sling bucket purse. The jewelry chosen to top off the Madge look are a big golden/rhinestone ring by Anne Klien paired with a smaller gold/rhinestone midi ring, black daisy gold trimmed and crystal earrings and my staple antique ruby replica ring & gold bangle. I also had a clip on mock gold necklace  with rhinestones to tie in the look. The indigo/violet streaks in my hair happened to have been placed just in time to add that extra chicness  to my look. Thank you for tuning in and checking my page out. I hope you all have a fun and safe & Stylish Halloween/Weekend. ---Make up ( Tarina Tarantino golden goddess, Almay-Smokey eyes (hazel eyes), L'Oreal- H.I.Pigment, Benefit-They're Real Mascara, Bite Beauty- Tannin lipstick)

Audacious Accessory Associations

Hello Fellow Fashion Lovers and Trend Setters! :) This Mini Pearl blog post is about the art of taking bold risks/being Audaciously Accessory oriented. One of my favorite things to do is put on a basic color top, dress, suit or ensemble and finishing it up with statement accessories to give the vibe of my mood for the day. My personal style may often be overdressed for many but in my opinion as a Fashionista, one can never be too overdressed for any of life's occasion. Styling (Fashion) to me is an art form, I see our bodies as a canvas, we are the artists and the clothing depending on fabric and detail are the primary colors; the mixtures of colors and textures  give that piece of artwork an extra special something that makes it unique,  it's that finishing touch which is the element of  accessorizing. These are a few examples of how one could put earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, sun glasses, head bands & hats together and create looks that show who you are without really saying much and giving the confidence a little boost. Color combinations, sparkle, glamor, texture and shine play a big part when choosing which earrings to go with a necklace or outfit. Being bold with your clothes/accessories is a fun way to express yourself to others whom we come across on a daily basis, looks are not everything, but a first impression will most likely be a lasting impression.

Printed and Pumped

Hey guys :)! My apologies because I know I'm a day late on my post but here it is...My LOTD (Look Of The Day) is a long,  lined and striped soft cotton t-shirt by H&M over Snake skin printed leggings also by H&M. My footwear was a triple combination texture 6" thick heeled pump made up of pleather, soft suede and wood by Dolce Vita. I like to belt some of my looks for shape purposes so I used a black weaved belt to match my pumps, my thin chained strapped light manilla gray purse was purchased at an estate sale, I saw it and connected to it instantly!. The jewelry is a combination of white beaded (diverse sizes) necklace and a black and gold shorter chain by Forever21, the bracelets are black and gold and blue and gold, one has an elephant and the other is an owl given to me for good luck and for protection against bad vibes/energy. That's the look of the week, I hope you all have a GREAT  & STYLISH WEEKEND! may you enjoy it with your loved ones, families & friends. Until next time, Take care! <3-Mini P

Boho Chic & Denim Sleek

Greetings from the Valley of the City of Angels :)! I hope you've all had a GREAT WEEK and that your weekend is Fun filled, Peaceful and Stylish. My take on Boho Chic was to pair a sand colored flowy shirt by Old Navy with sleek dark wash denim pant by Forever21+ . This is a great look for when you want to run errands, be comfortable and keep it interesting and stylish at the same time. I used a blue (Cerulean)  over sized purse with metallic studs for edge  and also to bring out the blue beads in the tribal inspired necklace, my earrings are a purple gem with yellow/sand colored drops by Vera Wang (Kohls), a gold toned brown sugar colored crystal ring and, a knotted head band over my messy curls (purchased in the Fashion District Downtown LA) to Boho it up a bit more. The final touch were my elastic camel colored metallic wedges by Shoedazzle to help give me some much needed height. Thank you for tuning in, I hope you enjoyed this look and may you continue to be blessed! Take care friends, until next Friday!!! <3

Hip Hop flare with Furr-ocious Gypsy Twist

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you're all having a lovely day and enjoying the cooler moments we've been having every once in a while here in Southern Cali like I have :). My LOTD (look of the day) consisted of a crop top 3/4 sleeve hoodie which I layered over a fitted cami; pairing it with a tan and black striped Maxi skirt by Mossimo (Target). My shoes are black elevated high tops ( some of my favorite kicks) by Shoedazzle to give it a little bit of a relaxed hip hop feel. My accessories are my Leopard/black trimmed studded purse which I love because it gives a little feline confidence to take on the day, my jewelry is a necklace and earrings combination made up of yellow, black, red and bling; I also chose a red vampire lip ring by Betsey Johnson to compliment the color combo and my Red Lacquer lipstick by Cover Girl. The last but not least touch for my look is a golden/bronze lame metallic headband which works to add the gypsy twist to my ensemble and it works if I put my hair up or let it down. Thank you for checking in again, I hope you enjoyed it and that you've gotten ideas for future outfits. Take Care :)

Tribal Print and an Electric Hue of Blue

Hello again Fashion Lovers, I hope your week has been great so far :). As we are experiencing a slight cooler breeze in the LA area (finally!) this weeks outfit is semi culturally inspired layered look. A fun way to liven up a basic blushing nude tank and blue suede patterned knee leggings both by H&M is to top it off with a cute but colorful sweater/jacket. I chose a long sleeve, multicolored tribal print sweater with an open front. My necklace is a combination of strands made up of colorful braided beads and metal; the earrings are an electric blue hue to match my ring and go with the blue inspired flow of the ensemble and the black pointed pumps by GUESS highlight the subtle black notes in the sweater. Thank you for checking it out and I hope the rest of your weekend is fun filled.

I chose to wear my favorite pointed closed toed colorful pumps by Prabal Gurung to give it the glam factor. The final touches for this outfit are my gold lion earrings and gold chain link chain, gold double ring and my lace and nude trucker hat to finish off the look. Thank you all for checking in, I hope you're enjoying the outfits so far and keep checking in for more ideas/fashion & inspiration. Take Care

Lady in Black with a Pop of Color

The color black is often viewed as a powerful color, many women and men wear it when they want to make a statement or need to be bold and would like to feel/look in control. This long sleeved (I rolled up the sleeves to 3/4) (LBD (Little Black Dress) from H&M with a crossover neckline can be dressed up, down, casual and even work professional. I chose to dress it up a little bit, and maintain mostly black in this ensamble. My shoes are black and white snake print patent leather peep toe heels and have pink bottoms by Shoedazzle. The jewelry consisted of a gold hued necklace with color & textured pieces on it, gold bangles, white pyramid earrings, and an eye ring. My accessories for this outfit were a black floppy glam hat (J.Lo inspired) by Forever21 and a mint bag by Dereon to bring out the color in the necklace. Tune in next week for my next blog, hope you enjoyed it! :)
